Peter Gorman Memorial Bench

Peter Gorman was a charter member (one of the first 15 players) of the club in 1975 and a respected contributor when rugby was new at Towson University. He and his fellow ruggers helped build the solid foundation and reputation that the club enjoys today. A tragic auto accident took the life of this young athlete in 1978.

Rugby alumni have created a memorial to Peter. This is the Peter Gorman Memorial Bench, which sits on the rugby training field next to the Towsontown garage.

This bench was dedicated at the 30th Anniversary and Seventh Annual Rugby Reunion
