We kick off our alumni reunion on Friday with the Bob and Bob golf tournament at Mount Pleasant golf course.  The tournament will be held Friday afternoon and I am sure that a good time will be had by all.

We will meet Friday evening at Batemans on campus at 8:00 for a good time social.  Batemans is located at the corner of York road and Cross Campus drive.

Saturday’s games will be held on Burdick field and we anticipate a 12:00 kick off in the premier game of the day – the current A side taking on the recent alumni.  Our B side will follow with a game against the less recent alumni and so on.  We would like to have an over 35 game, but that will depend on our numbers on game day.  We have yet to get confirmation from the women if they plan on playing a game.

Rain out – there is rain in the forecast and if we get a downpour on Friday the school might not let us play on Burdick field.  Baltimore rugby club has kindly offered us the use of their home field, Bocek field in downtown Baltimore.  Directions to the field are on the Baltimore rugby web site. Since the decision won’t be made until Friday night, please check the Towson rugby web site to see where the game will be held.  My cell phone number is on the bottom of this email.  Please check the web site first so I don’t have to take 100 calls on Friday.

After a good long hot shower, the Bull Roast will be held on the second floor of the University Union in the Potomac Lounge.  You will check in at the main desk and your hand will be stamped.  The event will run from 8:00 until midnight.  We will make a few announcements around 10:00 and have our guest speaker, club founder Craig Dobkin, say a few words.  We will then turn our DJ, Kenny Davis of Baltimore RFC fame, loose and expect to dance the night away for the final two hours.  Dress is very casual and we suggest some good dancing shoes.

For those who want to continue past midnight, we will walk the 200 yards to Batemans and finish the night off.
